If you are flying in from outside Egypt, you can arrive at either Cairo International Airport (CAI) or Sphinx International Airport (SPX).

Guests from Germany, especially Bavaria, may consider flying from Prague for cheaper fares. Flights are generally cheaper on weekdays, outside peak holiday periods and when booked 3–6 months in advance.

If you’d like to combine your stay with a relaxing beach vacation, there are many affordable package holidays from Germany to Hurghada, as well as to El Gouna (which we really like), and other destinations along the Red Sea coast. For guests doing this, we are happy to organize a transfer to Cairo by car. The drive from Hurghada takes approximately 5 hours. Alternatively, you can also take a short and affordable flight to Cairo from Hurghada or other popular holiday destinations such as Sharm El Sheikh.
